Training Leaders of Cadets is a professional development program for adult CAP

Volunteers. The TLC’s primary goal is to prepare seniors to lead cadets and administer the Cadet Program at the squadron level.

This course will follow the format provided by CAP NHQ website. It provides interesting and useable materials for the senior member. Students are required to download and PRINT student materials (preferred) or may bring a computer with the materials loaded on it.

Eligibility:  Completed Level I, OP SEC, and be Safety Current.

Registration:  Please submit an electronic CAPF 17 to WAWA@wawg.cap.gov and indicate TLC registration in the e-mail subject line. Include a cc’d copy to vickie.scholla@wawg.cap.gov. Cut-off date for registration is June 6, 2015.

Registration Fees: A registration fee of $20 must be mailed directly to WAWG HQ, P.O. Box 4459, McChord AFB, WA  98438-0459, NLT the registration cutoff date, in order to secure a seat in the class. NO Exceptions. Fee may be paid by personal check payable to CAP, or by squadron funds transfer to WAWG.

Refund Policy: If fees are paid by personal check, course fees may be refunded in full until the registration cutoff date. No refunds after the cutoff date. Electronic funds transfer cannot be refunded.

Overnight billeting and meals will be “on-your-own”. For those traveling from outside the local area, local motel and restaurant information will be provided upon request. Limited continental breakfast fare and break refreshments will be provided at the class.

All squadrons are required to have at least two qualified TLC course graduates.

TLC is a great opportunity to meet, mix, and network with other WAWG senior officers, in an enjoyable learning experience.
